The players of the BCS national football team are continuing their busy preparations for the Development Cup international tournament. This weekend the team played an exhibition match against professional club UniXlabs, who play in the Belarusian first division. It was a serious test for our boys as they are physically stronger and have a lot of experienced players in the team.

Despite this, BCS started the game with confidence and controlled the flow of play. This paid off as Mateus Alves Gomes Filho opened the scoring in the first half from a corner kick. However, towards the end of the half, their opponents equalised with a spectacular strike from the corner of the box.

In the second half, UniXlabs went on the attack and were awarded two penalties 10 minutes apart. The BCS goalkeeper saved twice, but both times their opponents were the first to score - 1-3.

The intrigue seemed to have died down, but in the 65th minute Adrian Castro De Souza scored to make it 2-3. The rest of the game was evenly contested and the score remained unchanged.

Preparations continue for the BCS national team. They have a week of training ahead of their first group game against Uzbeksitan on Sunday.
